Omena was found wandering the parking lot of the Traverse City Salvation Army. We know nothing at all about how or why she ended up there. Omena has come a long way in her foster home, but she will need a patient adopter who is willing to give her time to learn to trust. Omena gets along very well with the other cats, young and old, in her foster home. She has lived with small children and a young dog. She would make a great companion for that other kitty you recently adopted who needs a playmate while you are gone for the day!!
Omena has the characteristics of a 'Russian Blue' cat, but we're pretty sure she is a mixed breed, as most rescue cats are. She is beautiful and elegant and is sure to become even more so as she matures.
